Workers’ Compensation Examiner

David joined our Boise office at Intermountain Claims in 2018. He currently serves as a time-loss examiner on the service teams he is assigned. David’s background is in customer service and administrative legal support which compliment his role as a time loss examiner. David has problem solving and critical thinking capabilities as well as advanced technical skills. He is adept at reviewing and understanding legal documents as well as claim handling guidelines and protocols. David is detail-oriented and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Visual Arts from Boise State University and is a licensed adjuster in the state of Idaho as well as a Certified Idaho Workers’ Compensation Specialist, Distinguished Graduate (CIWCS).

Brad joined Intermountain Claims’ Boise office in 2021 with over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry and over 14 years of handling complex workers’ compensation claims for a large insurance carrier and national third-party administrator.   He also worked for an Idaho Hospital as a medical bill representative, overseeing workers’ compensation billing during which time, he gained in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the medical provider billing and coding processes.  Brad has a thorough understanding of Idaho Workers’ Compensation Law,  extensive knowledge of medical terminology and is experienced in all aspects of claim investigation and settlement. He has excellent analytical skills, is proficient in a variety of computer platforms, and possesses a strong working relationship with local medical and legal vendors. Brad is a licensed Idaho Resident Adjuster and a Certified Idaho Workers’ Compensation Specialist.

Senior Claims Examiner

Stan joined the Portland office of Intermountain Claims in 2023 with 19 years of workers’ compensation experience.  As a senior claims examiner, he has worked for multiple TPA firms managing complex workers’ compensation claims in both Oregon and Washington.  Stan is efficient in subrogation, litigation, negotiating settlements, and medical management of complex claims.  He is an effective communicator, technically competent and has strong organizational skills including process management.  Stan prioritizes adherence to client and company best practices and protocols and is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner for the State of Oregon.

Senior Claims Examiner

Morgan joined the Boise office of Intermountain Claims in 2011.  She works closely with our insurance carrier and self-insured accounts.  She has strong investigative, organizational and customer service skills as well as a solid understanding of medical terminology and the Idaho Workers’ Compensation Statute. She maintains an excellent rapport with our clients and the local medical community. Morgan holds the Idaho Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist (CIWCS), Advanced Level designation.

Senior Adjuster

Bruce joined Intermountain Claims in 2013 adding 20 plus years of experienced claims handling and multi-line claim supervision to our services in Washington. He is well versed in casualty investigation and adjusting, property claim handling, litigation management, and mediation. Bruce is highly experienced with complex personal and commercial casualty claims, including analysis, investigation, and negotiation. He has experience with property claims including dwelling and content losses, agriculture, and farm and ranch liability claims. Bruce has attended a variety of industry training courses and seminars for property, liability, and auto claims handling. He holds the INS and AIC designations from the Insurance Institute of America, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Organization from Idaho State University and is a licensed Private Investigator in Washington. Bruce holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and is licensed in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, and Alaska.

Senior Adjuster

Ryan joined Intermountain Claims in 2013 with previous multi-line claim handling experience including both property and liability exposures. He is well versed in all areas of the claim handling process and has a proven ability to provide exceptional customer service. His experience encompasses the investigation and adjudication of first party medical claims, third party bodily injury/uninsured motorist claims, personal property losses, and CAT storm duty claims. Ryan understands the components of a successful claim investigation and has the skills needed to proactively manage multi-line claim assignments, including large property losses and complex liability claims. He attends industry training seminars and is well versed in the Xactimate system. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion from George Fox University and is licensed in Oregon, Idaho and Washington. He has also received his Associate in Claims and is IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WTR) certified.

Madeline joined the Missoula office of Intermountain Claims in 2024 and handles medical only claims. She works closely with our self-insured clients, national and regional insurance carriers and third-party administrative programs. Prior to joining Intermountain, Madeline worked as a legal assistant, law clerk and retail store manager. She possess strong leadership, time management and communication skills, and is committed to customer service. Madeline is pursuing a Business Information Systems degree at the University of Arizona and is a Certified Professional Montana Claims Examiner.

Joining Intermountain in 2021, Jeannette brings a unique skillset as Marketing Director for Intermountain Claims.  Adding to her AINS (Associate in Insurance) certification, she has over 20 years marketing/sales experience in complimenting industries such as Automotive, Real Estate/Mortgage, Financial Services, Construction and Healthcare.  Her technical skills as a Data Analyst and Website Manager, organizational skills as an Event Coordinator, detailed Bookkeeping, and Medical Admin services for Workers’ Compensation patients, all provide a platform for effective communication with our valued clients.

Adjuster

Charles joined the Boise office of Intermountain Claims in 2024 as a General Liability Adjuster.  In addition to several years of experience as an independent adjuster, he has over 30 years of investigative experience in criminal, civil, fraud and liability claims investigations, both as a business owner and an employee. Charles has excellent research and analytical skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, pays close attention to policy details and prepares comprehensive, accurate reports.  Prior to his adjusting and private investigator roles, Charles served as a police officer and investigator from 1990 – 2000.  During this time, he earned a Medal of Valor and multiple awards for his investigative excellence.  His college tenure included studies in paralegal and law-enforcement courses.  He is a State of Idaho licensed Independent Adjuster.

Jasen has 24 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 14 years handling complex workers’ compensation claims. His background also includes 5 years as a Claims Administrator for an Idaho municipality overseeing workers’ compensation exposures from the employer perspective and experience as an Occupational Health Director, during which time he gained an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the medical provider workers’ compensation claim process. Jasen has a thorough understanding of Idaho Workers’ Compensation law, extensive knowledge of medical terminology, and is experienced in all aspects of claim investigation and settlement. He has excellent analytical skills, is proficient with a variety of computer platforms, and possesses a strong working relationship with local medical and legal vendors, as well as our clients. Jasen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of Idaho and is a College of Idaho Leadership Program Graduate. He is a former Licensed Resident Insurance Producer and is a licensed Insurance Adjuster in the state of Idaho, as well as a Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist.
